Arnold Revzin is the Scientific Review Officer for the Macromolecular Structure and Function C Study Section, and he also is a referral officer in the Division of Receipt and Referral. He received his Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Wisconsin, then had postdoctoral training at the Weizmann Institute (Israel) and the University of Oregon. He was a faculty member in the Department of Biochemistry at Michigan State University for 23 years, pursuing research into the biophysics of nucleic acid-protein interactions involved in the control of transcription. In addition to serving as a program director for one year at the National Science Foundation, he had a variety of administrative responsibilities at MSU before becoming Professor Emeritus and coming to CSR in 1998.
