Dr. Dana Jeffrey Plude is a Scientific Review Officer in the Biobehavioral and Behavioral Processes (BBBP) Integrated Review Group. He oversees the BBBP-D study section, which reviews small business grant applications involving computer-based interventions related to mental health, substance abuse, aging, driving and animal behavior. He earned a Ph.D. in psychology from Syracuse University, studying lifespan development with emphasis on cognition in the elderly. He continued this research with grant support from the National Institute on Aging as a postdoctoral fellow at the Veterans Administration outpatient clinic in Boston and as a faculty member in the department of psychology at the University of Maryland College Park. At UMCP he was associate professor and associate chair in psychology before joining CSR.
