Dr. José Guerrier is the Scientific Review Officer for Behavioral and Social Science Approaches to Preventing HIV/AIDS Study Section within the AIDS & AIDS-Related Research Integrated Review Group. Dr. Guerrier received a Ph.D. in social psychology from Howard University and was awarded a research fellowship at the Army Research Institute, where he was introduced to human factors research. Prior to joining CSR, he was a senior research scientist at the Stein Gerontological Institute and research assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at the University of Miami, FL. Dr. Guerrier conducted research in human factors and aging with a focus on the impact of aging and cognition on mobility and transportation.
