Dr. Marc Rigas is a Scientific Review Officer for the Instrumentation Systems and Development standing review group, as well as its companion small business review panel. He also manages special reviews in computational biology and bioengineering. Dr. Rigas received the Ph.D. in bioengineering from the Pennsylvania State University and the B.S.E. in bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to his career at NIH, Dr. Rigas was a research engineer with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Office of Research and Development, where he developed analyses of human exposure to environmental chemicals and served on the coordinating committee of the National Children’s Study, a long-term study of children’s health and the environment.
