Dr. Mike Radtke has 16 years of review experience at CSR and he is now the Scientific Review Officer for the Synthetic Biological Chemistry B Study Section. Prior to government service, he obtained his Ph.D. at the University of Notre Dame studying the biosynthesis of cholesterol in insects. His postdoctoral research at the University of Michigan dealt with investigating liver P450 and N-acetyl transferase enzymes. Before coming to NIH, he consulted for NASA’s Space Medicine Program, as well as the International Space Station, and he performed toxicology studies for NIOSH and for EPA where he was employed as a scientist.
