Dr. Shiv Prasad is the Scientific Review Officer for the AIDS Discovery and Development of Therapeutics and the AIDS Immunology and Pathogenesis study sections. Prior to joining CSR, he was a program officer at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. There, Dr. Prasad directed the extramural research program in transplantation immunology. Dr. Prasad received his Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology at the University of Minnesota. He then received an Intramural Research Training Award to conduct postdoctoral studies at NIAID on the mechanisms of MHC Class I-mediated antigen presentation.
