Dr. William Greenberg is the Scientific Review Officer for CSR’s Macromolecular Structure and Function C (MSFC) Study Section, within the Biological Chemistry and Macromolecular Biophysics Integrated Review Group. He received his Ph.D. in organic chemistry at the California Institute of Technology and did postdoctoral training at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, CA. After working several years in the biotech industry as a medicinal and process chemist, he was an assistant professor in the chemistry department at The Scripps Research Institute, where his research interests included the evolution and application of enzymes for chemical synthesis, and exploring the role of glycosylation on protein structure and function.
